June's Emote of the Month

Why? Well, there are hidden deeds for certain emotes that people have found, receiving a number of these (usually 100) will unlock a hidden title or new emote! You get nothing for giving out the emotes though, only receiving, and there is a limit per day of how many of each received emote counts toward the deed (usually only the first 5 per day count). Thus this emote exchange system!

The poll for each month is in the poll section of the website. You can find a link at the top of this page.

Important notes

- lotro-wiki.com (link below) and various sources on the forum lists the Adorable title (/hug) as a disabled deed, so I will not include them in the deed rotation until I see evidence otherwise. :/
- The Acrobatic Spirit (/handstand giving /flip emote) is now gone because /flip is now an emote available to everyone.
- Emote deeds DO NOT advance in a raid, or so I hear now! Note: This has been back and forth, but the most recent info I've received is that they do not. Spam your kinnies before/after raids.
- The poll only includes a sampling of emotes that have not yet won in this cycle. If your favorite emote isn't in the poll right now, just wait a few months.

General Guidelines
- These deeds can be advanced 5 (some 2) times per day on the RECEIVING end, which means that if two people emote 5 times to a person, the second person's one doesn't count!
- To cut down on global spam, you could try to give the character you run across one use of the emote per day! You don't have to do 5 /mocks at once on Faern for example, because chances are 4 other people will gladly /mock at him later on in the day too and fill his per-day quota!
- Don't spam out everyone in a public area, especially when there are players roleplaying nearby, be mindful of our image to the rest of the server!
- You are not obligated to slow or stop or return the favour if you are in a hurry, but try not to miss it too much! It's mutually beneficial to both of you.
Finally, and most importantly,
- These are not firm rules, just general guidelines, as long as everyone enjoys! If you two want to exchange 5 emotes for example, or one of everything, and then some, go right ahead. Just be wary of annoying others around you in public and giving the kin a bad name!
